Ice is forming.
The gentle chrystals creep outward from the center.
At first it's chilling but surely it will consume.

No more heat
To convince them their presence is unwanted,
The chrystals begin carving craters in the surface.

Leaving a mark
A weakness in the newly vulnerable shell,
it will reveal the emptiness that rested
undisturbed until now.

Emptiness disturbed is like a bear awoken on December 4th,
Hungry and violent.
